The Choctaw Stadium Summer Shuffle
We got the call from the stadium event coordinator on a Thursday afternoon. They had a last-minute concert series added for the weekend, and their usual porta-potty supplier had flaked. The July sun was brutal, hitting that 90-degree mark by 10 AM, and they needed 30 units delivered and serviced before gates opened Saturday morning. The stakes were high—a sold-out crowd and a major promoter counting on us.
Our crew mobilized immediately. We pulled units from our Shady Valley and East Arlington depots, had them cleaned and stocked that evening, and started rolling into the stadium's service alley before dawn on Friday. By coordinating with stadium security and using our low-profile trailers, we had every unit placed, locked, and ready by noon, giving the event staff a full day to prep. The promoter didn't even notice the scramble, which is exactly how we like it.
Mid-Cities had those units locked down before our first crew even showed up.
